🚨 Now Sh*t Is Getting Real
- I had just finished UWorld...
- But the fear started hitting.
- I was honestly scared of getting into the NBMEs.
- I wanted to avoid them completely.
😬 What I Did Instead (and Regret)
- I didn’t even attempt CMS forms.
- That was a mistake.
- Instead:
- I did AMBOSS fully.
- Reviewed some of my UWorld mistakes.
- Why?
- I think a lot of us fear that "exam is getting close" feeling.
- So we distract ourselves with stuff like:
- “Maybe I’ll just review more.”
- “I need more time before assessments.”
- But honestly, I wish I saved that time.
- I should have started CMS forms earlier.
- Taken an NBME to test myself.
- Then used AMBOSS only if my score was low.
🤷♂️ You Live, You Learn
- I won’t say AMBOSS was useless — it had value.
- But doing it fully was a waste of precious assessment time.
- I should’ve stuck with just the high-yield study plans.
✅ What You Should Do Instead
- Start CMS forms early.
- They’re around 48 forms total.
- Even the old ones are worth doing for question exposure.
- Aim for 1–2 forms per day.
